PTFE – SPRAY
PROPERTIES:
PTFE-SPRAY is a tried and tested, silicone-free separator, antisize, anti-tack agent, and lubricant for practically all materials. The PTFE-layer prevents the sticking of parts to the mould and helps to increase the demoulding rates of injection molding, laminating, and compression molding cycles due to fast and easy demoulding. Reworking problems and processing errors, such as blisters or orange-peel effect, are reduced.
APPLICATION AREAS:
PTFE-SPRAY coatings are completely oil-free, not staining and not transmitting, that is, they cause no problems for subsequent printing, metal coating, bonding and coating of molded parts. PTFE-SPRAY is used in the following sectors:
- industry
- craft
- household
- motor vehicle
- hobby
- sports
- etc.
In order to achieve good adhesion of the PTFE-layer, the surface to be coated has to be completely dry and free from dirt and repelling substances. Only thin layers should be applied. To achieve a greater layer thickness, the spray has to be applied several times with drying periods in between. The coating must be kept away from open flames, embers or hot surfaces. Good ventilation is important.
